Film Lab does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. The app has no backend, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no user accounts.
All data you enter — recipes, rolls, chemistry batches, photographer details, dev runs, notes — is stored on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled for Film Lab, in your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. The developer never sees this data. Apple's own privacy policy governs how iCloud handles it.
PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest under reason code CA92.1: "access to information stored only in the app itself").Film Lab requests permission to send local notifications so that development-stage timers can alert you when a stage ends. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS; no notification content leaves your device.
Film Lab does not access any of these.
Film Lab is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. The app does not knowingly collect any data from any user.
If the privacy practices ever change in any material way, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. Because the app collects nothing, no notice mechanism is built into the app itself; the current policy is always available at this URL.
